February Enhancements, Updates, & Fixtures

2018 has been a non-stop ride of tasting, testing, and learning. In the short two months, we have been slowly gaining more users, which has been essential to our growth, from the feedback they provide. We continue to be appreciative of their patience and communication. Above all, we are grateful for the chances they are taking with us. We know the risk, but are excited to have these new faces join the journey and be part of such a unique process. Together we can build something to better serve our students.
February included more bug fixtures and a few enhancements. As we continue to receive feedback from our users, we will continue to fix the essentials in a timely manner as well as adding improvements along the way. Below is a list of enhancements, improvements, and bug fixtures for the release of OMNIS 1.7.
Updates & Improvements: Added pagination to created course view page:
The following enhancement includes added pagination to created courses or lessons. As you can see before the update, the system would not allow the viewing of more than twenty session or so at a time, unless the user zoomed out the page view to under 80%- suuuuper small! In addition to this, the course discussion board icon was left off the page or cut off. To resolve this error, we added pagination (page numbering) to the course view section, giving users the ability to view up to ten sessions per page. This has resolved the cut off of the course discussion as well as giving users a more cleaner look to the course view page.

AFTER: Added page numbering, displaying ten sessions per page as well as displaying discussion board at 100% frame view Bug Fixtures Fixed error with business admin not being able to update their personal profile. Now Individual Pro accounts (single-member private instructors) can update their profile when saved. Error with session files and videos not displaying for students or instructor accounts has been fixed. Previously, this would not allow instructors to add individual session materials or view the materials uploaded by a business admin. Resolved error of not allowing family/parent account submit a question through the Q&A section. Now students AND parents can ask questions through the Private Q&A Board. Fixed error with system not allowing students to submit a question through a session for a course with multiple instructors involved. The system now allows students to submit questions to instructor tied to specific that session. This concludes updates for the month of February. We will have more updates and improvements come March as we continue to take in user’s feedback. In the coming months we will be focusing on the payment center and course view, finding more ways to simplify course creations, uploading content, and adding payments.
